You will need to rescue three captured spies from the clutchesof the evil group B.A.D. -- you must save them in the proper orderbecause each provides the items necessary to tackle the nextrescue, or the game's completion. Here is the guide to each step ofthe solution, as the game does not provide any shortcuts.

  1. If you go left, to the dock, you will be beaten up by the B.A.Dguards there.
  2. Go to the Headquarters building, top floor, and talk toDirector D of the spy agency. He will tell you of the three missingspies and give you your Message Decoder.
  3. You will encounter several friendly agents who will shareinformation. The first directs you to the Bistro, where you willneed to get the fingerprint of a B.A.D. bigwig. To do this, youwill get a job as a chef and steal the bad guy's wine glass. Toescape with it, climb through the exhaust fan in the kitchen andjump along the ceiling light fixtures.
  4. At the Eye Doctor, you will not be trusted by the doctor.However, once you have spoken to another agent, he will tell youhow to take the eye test (choose the opposite, left to right or upinstead of down symbols) to show you are a trusted agent.
  5. Go upstairs and the doctor will let you in the secret spylaboratory. Get the special Chameleon Suit that he's developed.When you are standing still, you will be completely invisible toyour enemies.
  6. Go back to the dock, and climb up the roof, using the chameleonsuit to evade the guards (and dogs!). Enter the vent and make yourway downstairs until you reach the locked vault. Go though theceiling to rescue the agent inside. He will knock out the guardsand open the bottom door for you. He will also give you the LaserPen, and a clue to B.A.D.'s evil plan.
  7. Go back to the right, and you will get information from anotheragent, who gives you the Secret File. Graffiti on the next buildingwill tell you how to read the message in it. (Somebody can't betrusted. It reads 'Don't trust Director D')
  8. Climb the building with the electric shock fields (this takescareful timing) until you reach the attic. Cut through the barswith your laser pen. The second spy is inside and will give you hisGrappling Bowtie, with which to reach tall locations. He will alsogive you the second of three clue cards.
  9. Go up to the rooftops on Balding Avenue, and grapple left tothe tall building, then left again to avoid the guard. (Wear thechameleon suit to make this easier.) You will encounter another spyon the roof, who will tell you to go RIGHT to the other tallantenna. This leads to a greenhouse, where the third spy is held ina locked cage, which your Laser Pen won't cut. To open the cage, godown past the carnivorous plants (they bite) and find the CherryBomb tree. You can release a Cherry Bomb from the tree, and it willexplode about 40 seconds later. Push it left onto the TrampolinePlant, and it will be thrown up higher. Climb up, avoid the plants,and push it left again onto the second Trampoline Plant. This willbounce it up to the cage but you have to climb up to re-position itbefore it explodes. The released spy will give you her UltraVisiongoggles, so that you can see the laser beams around the B.A.D.hiding place. You also get the final clue about the spies' evilplan.
  10. You will need a fingerprint to bypass the security. Go to theBAD Bistro, and pass the memory test to get the chef's job. Takethe wine glass from the BAD bigwig at the table. Slip out of thebistro by going up through the kitchen vent and left across theceiling lights.
  11. Go to the far right, put on the goggles, and make your waythrough the lasers. Climb up the right side of the building andthen move up and left until you can enter the hideout. (The laserswill knock you down a lot, but not harm you.)
  12. Use the 'fingerprint' to enter the lair's electronicsecurity.
  13. Director D has somehow gotten in the lair as well, and you willuse the three password codes (LASER HAIR REMOVAL)to reactivate thetransporter to the laser satellite. Unfortunately, D is a baldbaddie himself. Follow him up to the satellite and will sic hismini-bot guards on you. Avoid the robot's zaps and lead it to ayellow power globe, which will send electricity through its plugand destroy it. Three more mini-bots will attack, and there arethree more globes (two at the top of the room, two at thebottom).
  14. *IF THE GAME FREEZES : sorry, nothing to do but reset the gamefrom when you entered the B.A.D. area.
  15. When his bots are destroyed, the evil director will beginzapping you with his flying control room. You will have to use theBowtie to reach the top of his machine. Each time he flies into theceiling to knock you loose, he will damage his machine. After 3crunches, he is powerless and is taken into custody. You become aDirector and get the island medal.

Sep 09, 2008 Spy Island is the 6th island released on Poptropica. The island was released on September 9, 2008 for everyone. An organization called the Bald and Dangerous (or B.A.D. For short) is using a ray with an unknown chemical (most likely sulfuric acid) that vaporizes every Poptropican's hair. They have captured Headquarters' top three spies, adding frustration to Spy Island authorities. Spy #1 edit edit source Then, go left to the Docks. Find the spy in the trash can, click on him, and he will give you a message. Then, make your way up the building, avoiding the guards, and find the little door on the attic. Go to the bottom, avoiding the three vicious dogs and the guards. Get into the safe and free the spy.

Poptropica Spy Island Walkthrough

  • When in the greenhouse (step 10), you should take off theBowtie, to avoid using it accidentally.
  • The jumping movement inside the B.A.D. hideout (step 12) isespecially tough where the two lasers are firing at once. This maytake several tries.
