- You'll start off next to the bus outside PoptropiCon, the biggest Poptropica convention of all time! The problem is, it's sold out, so how do we get in? To the right is the Costume Closet, where you should probably save your costume right now (because you're going to lose it). Now, go right to the people waiting in line. Talk to the princess.
How to save the boy on Sharktooth Island:
1. Go to the Ancient Ruins in Sharktooth Island.

2. Jump on the big square rock and avoid the giant coconuts.(you can push the rock)
3. Climb up the vines and you will be on a platform with a manin a mask.
4. He will tell you that you don't look like a native islanderso go back down the vines until you are back at the ground.
5. Go to the right to Booga Bay and there is a guy that will beselling grass skirts.
6. Put on the grass skirt he gives you (it is in your inventoryon the top in the brown bag).
7. Go back to the Ancient Ruins and climb back up to theman.
8. Talk to him and he will tell you that he can make a potion tocalm him but the key ingredient is deep in the ancient ruins.
9. Go to the top of the Ancient Ruins building and you will seea piece of paper and click on it.
10. Go inside the Ancient Ruins building/temple and go to thebottom where the green water is and go to the left.
11. Go to the top and to the left now and you will see a facelike thing in the wall.
12. Click on it and and use the piece of paper you found on theroof.
13. The password to open it is OPEN (use the key on the piece ofpaper to spell out OPEN)
14. Go left and there will be a golden shark statue with aGINORMOUS worm on it and you have to get to the top of the statueand jump on the swinging platform.
15. Go to the left and you will see a wall with spikes. Jumpdown there and get a bone.
16. Now go back to the top of the spike wall and wait for amoving platform and jump onto it.
17. Go left and climb down the vine and you will see what youneed.
18. Go to the left and there will be a pot with something greenin it. Pick it up and go up the vine and go up.
19. Then you are back by the Coconut Cafe. Click on the guy atthe Coconut Cafe and he will give you Carbonated Milk.
20. Climb back up to the man with the mask and he will mix you apotion!
21. Jump back down and go to the right to Booga Bay.
22. Go to the right and swim across the boxes in the water andclick on where it says ' FEED THE SHARK'.
23. Shoot a coconut into the water (it will be the one with thepotion).
24. Close out of feeding the shark and he will be sleeping soswim across and go to the right.
25. You'll see an old man and a kid with buck teeth.
26. Talk to the man and kid and head back to the place where themom is (the old man and kid will follow you).
27. The mom will thank you for saving her kid and you will get agold medallion!
I figured this out all by myself! It took a while but at leastyou can get some credits and buy some stuff at the store!

Balloon Boy is a minor character on Counterfeit Island. In addition to this, Balloon Boy appears on many other island quests as a running gag.

Role in Counterfeit Island[edit | edit source]
After you give Balloon Boy a green balloon, he will float up and away, and will leave you and his sister in horror. After viewing a quick cutscene, a man on Main Street will approach you and ask if you have heard about Balloon Boy. You should then enter the Internet Cafe, and talk to the Orange-Bearded Tourist, who is no longer occupied by his video game.
Role in Reality TV Island[edit | edit source]
Balloon Boy has a cameo appearance on Reality TV Island, as is shown in the news on the TVs at TV World. Apparently, he is still floating around, and has not reached land yet.
Role in Cryptids Island[edit | edit source]
During the sneak peek game, you could spot Balloon Boy. In fact you can still occasionally see him next to the fortune hunter in the hot-air balloon.
Role in Ghost Story Island[edit | edit source]
While searching the newspaper's archives computer for information, you can spot box labeled 'Balloon Boy Articles', which is an obvious reference to Balloon Boy.

Balloon Boy is mentioned by the Story Generator 2000.

- Balloon Boy references an actual incident in Fort Collins, Colorado.
- On Counterfeit Island, there is a glitch in which if you pop the green balloon right before you give it to him, he floats up with a red balloon.
- In the picture you get after he floats away, his hair is black.
